Call for Action volunteers with our Madison, Wisconsin partners WISC News 3 helped a satellite customer with a surprise bill increase.  He had recently purchased a package for a $50 monthly rate, which was suddenly increased one month to nearly $100.  He spent hours on the phone with customer service without success, then reached out to WISC’s CFA volunteers.  After they spoke with his provider, he got another call from the company saying his bill would be corrected.  As an additional gesture, the customer received package of cookies in the mail.  Also enclosed was the phone number of a representative he could contact directly with further questions.
