Connect2Compete is a high-speed, low-cost Internet service for eligible low-income households at a cost of $9.95 per month; a free WiFi modem is included. Cox Digital Academy provides educational tools at no additional cost.
It’s $9.95 per month plus tax for speeds up to 15Mbps that will allow the use of multiple devices simultaneously.
The WiFi modem can connect any internet-enabled device (laptops, tablets or smartphones). There is no installation charge for standard install on one pre-wired outlet.
The kit includes a modem with wireless Wi-Fi. The modem remains Cox property and must be returned upon the termination of service to avoid charges.
- At least one student in grades K-12 must live in your household
- Your household must be participating in one of these government assistance programs: the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), SNAP, TANF or Public Housing
- You cannot have subscribed to Cox High Speed Internet service in the last 90 days
- You cannot have any outstanding Cox bills or unreturned equipment
