When an Atlanta area man’s leather couch began to peel and rip and the company he bought it from refused to recognize his warranty, he got our WAGA-TV problem solvers at “Call for Action” involved.
The man’s couch should have been covered by the five year warranty he bought with it. However, when he tried to get it replaced, the company told him that warranty didn’t cover peeling, despite paperwork saying otherwise. Dismayed, he turned to Call for Action. Within a day, the furniture company’s regional manager was on the phone and a new coach was on its way.
Call for Action was effective in part because the man took the smart steps of holding onto a hard copy of his warranty and reading it carefully, precautions all consumers should take.
