A Rhode Island PTA wanted to raise $400 for new playground equipment. When the frozen yogurt store they partnered with for a fundraiser didn’t deliver, other businesses in the community were able to step in and save the day.
The store says that they didn’t give the PTA the promised check because the parents didn’t do its part to promote the store and provide media coverage. Luckily for the PTA, other local businesses stepped in to fill the void and give donations; free of promotion.
